About you Not started

Never shown publicly. It is how you get the link to publish and edit this event.

1. The event Not started

Up to 150 characters.

It decides whether an artist is required and whether a level applies.

No start or end time. Usual for events that run over several days.

Local time at the venue.

The same day or later. Never before the start.

We fill it in from the address. You can always change it.

Leave it unticked for a one-off event.

Weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

For weekly and fortnightly rules. Fortnightly skips whole weeks.

Required when recurring, and at most 24 months from the start.

Other dates

More dates of the same event, with or without a repetition. Leave the time empty and it is the event’s own. Up to 60 dates, within 24 months of the first one.

In person or online. It decides which location fields are required.

Scheduled by default. Any other status must be explained.

Up to 200 characters. Required as soon as the status is not "scheduled".

“Skip some dates” and “Cancel a date” are not the same thing

Skip some dates (here)
The date never happens and never appears. Use it now, while you are setting the series up: “every Tuesday, not in August”.
Cancel a date (later, from your events)
The date stays visible, struck through and marked cancelled, with your note. Use it when a class that was announced is off: somebody who already travelled needs to see it, not to find it gone.

2. Where Not started

Choose it from the list. The time zone comes from it.

Optional. The name people know the place by, such as Studio Kawa. Up to 120 characters.

We use it to put the event on the map once you send it.

Zoom, Google Meet, Jitsi...

The address people join through. Required for an online event, and for one moved online.
